List of Ranks

Ranks on Project City Build hasare ranksbroken belonginginto the four categories below, each distinguished by how promotions are earned. Players may hold up to several categories. Players can belong to up at most 1one rank in each category,category simultaneously.

Trust Ranks

Community Guestranks

The following ranks reflect a player's participation in the PCB community.

Guest

Guest is the default rank forassigned peopleto new players who viewjoin ourthe site,Minecraft server or joinview ourthe Minecraftwebsite. server.Guests Youcan willbuild haveand play in Survival, and can also explore the Creative worlds and Monarch with basic commands suchlike as /warpwarps and /tpa. Guests can become Members by using /register in-game and youfollowing willthe beinstructions. ableGuests todo buildnot inhave survival.an in-game prefix.

■ Member

Member is granted uponAfter registering for a PCB account.account, Itplayers isobtain the minimumMember rank required to build in Creative. It comes with a range of additional commands such as /home and allows you to post and participate on our forums.

Trusted

Trusted is earned through time and commitment to the PCB community and it’s values. If a staff member believes you are trustworthy, they may nominate you for this rank. Trusted comes with a large array of additional commands, including access to armour stand tools (/ast) andgain the ability to build in Monarch.the two Creative worlds. Members also unlock additional commands like /homes. Members are denoted in-game by the [M] prefix.

■ Trusted

The Trusted rank is earned by players who demonstrate consistent activity in the community and an understanding of PCB's values. With the introduction of builder ranks, Trusted now largely serves a ceremonial function. Because the rank has existed since the Java server's beginning, Trusted is held mostly by staff members and legacy players. Trusteds are denoted in-game by the [T] prefix.

The following ranks reflect a player's building skill demonstrated on the server. The ranks are earned sequentially and cannot be skipped over. To rank up, players submit an application (/rankup in-game) which is then reviewed by the Architects Council.

■ Builder

Builder is the highestfirst obtainablebuilder non-staffrank, rank.earned Theby Trusted+applicants rankwho isshow awardedan to (non-staff) membersunderstanding of thebasic communityprinciples wholike depth, detail, scale, and palette. Builders are standdenoted out examples within our community. Players with this rank are the most Trusted in our communityin-game by the staff[B] team.prefix.

Builders gain access to the Sandbox flatworld (/warp sandbox). In the Sandbox, Builders can use and practice basic WorldEdit (or W/E) commands with a 150,000-block edit limit. This rank hasdoes allnot grant W/E permissions in the perksCreative ofworlds. the Trusted and Donator ranks, with the added advantage of being allowed to apply for WorldEdit (W/E) and getting early access to new projects and map resets.

Builder Ranks

Intern

Intern is the entry level Builder rank. Players who do not meet the requirements to be promoted to Builder will receive this rank. Interns inherit the same permissions as Members.

Builder

Builders are thealso premier rank for players to acquire World Edit. Players who submit a build of significant detail are permitted to enter the the Sandbox World. Here, Builders can make use of their World Edit Commandseligible to build within aMonarch, limitPCB's ofpremier 150,000city-building Blocksproject. perGuidelines Edit.for Builders have World Edit permissions ONLYbuilding in theMonarch Sandboxcan world.be found here.

■ Planner

PlannersPlanner areis the natural progression from Builders,Builder, Playersearned by applicants who have a great understanding of the fundamentals of building,building. aswellPlanners ascreate larger, cohesive projects with a sense of theme or style and longterm goals. They are denoted in-game by the [P] prefix.

Planners also show a strong handling of WorldWorldEdit Editcommands, commandsand areas permittedsuch, theearn Planner rank. Planners have unlimited World EditW/E permissions in the sandbox,Creative aswellworlds aswith a 250,000000-block edit limit. Their block edit limit is additionally removed in the Creative World.Sandbox.

■ Engineer

AEngineer masteris levelthe builderrank showingearned expetriseby inapplicants allwith areas.an Fromimpressive proficiency across types of Minecraft building. They can work at scales both large scale builds toand small intricatewhether details,they're inspiringdealing blockwith palettesstructures, andterrain, anorganics, overflowdetail, ofor creativity,anything else. Engineers are atcreative and innovative, meeting any challenge with confidence. They are denoted in-game by the forefront[E] ofprefix.

Architect

Architects areacross the pinnaclewhole ofserver.

Architect is the serversonly creatives,builder showingrank artisanalthat knowledgecannot inbe allapplied areas of building, architects debate on wether or not to promote individuals within the Builders ranks. Architects have no additional permissions. Bothfor. Players and Staff canare both eligible to become ArchitectsArchitects, but both must earn the rank through merit alone. New Architects are chosen by the current Architects Council out of the pool of Engineers. Because Architects are the deciders for all builder rank promotions, they must possess not just a mastery of building, but also the ability to critique with care and help other players improve their own skills. They are denoted in-game by the [A] prefix.

Miscellaneous

Aside Ranks

from the responsibility of reviewing applications, Architects do not gain any additional permissions in-game.

Donation ranks

❤ Donator

The Donator rank is for players who make a generous contribution to help keep the server running. The rank is divided into three tiers (Copper, Iron, and DiamondDiamond), Tiers)each with additional perks, based on the amount a player contributes monthly. Donators are denoted in-game by the [$] prefix, regardless of their tier.

Donator perks include an increased number of homes with /homes, custom in-game nicknames with /nick, and various QOL movement commands. If you are interested in becoming a Donator, visit this page!

Staff ranks

✦ Staff

Staff are grantedthe byserver's purchasingmoderation and support team. They help guide new players on the server, resolve issues in the community, and enforce the server's rules across Minecraft, Discord, and other PCB services. In addition to these baseline responsibilities, Staff members can be a Donationpart Tierof toany supportof PCB.three Playersteams with thisspecial rankfocuses. haveStaff accessare todenoted in-game cosmetics,by cosmeticthe commands[Staff] suchprefix, regardless of their team.

Events

The Events Team plans and hosts events on the server like the World Expo.

Marketing

The Marketing Team handles PCB's social media profiles and other outreach projects to advertise the server.

Technical

The Technical Team maintains PCB's infrastructure, helping the server keep up with the latest Minecraft updates.

Administrators are the highest-ranking staff members. They process player reports, direct large-scale server projects, and manage the staff team as /nickwell (coloured)as andother more.
