Pierre Montmorency

Pierre Henry Montmorency (June 13 1774 - April 6 1839) was a Cascadian-French politician and who served as the 1st president of Cascadia from 1823 to 1831 and was the founder of Montmorency. He was a member and the founder of the Democratic Cascadian Party (DCP). He previously served as the mayor of Melun, France from 1806 to 1811, political leader in Orléans from 1811 to 1820 and later in Dixieville from 1820 to 1823. He was also a colonel-general in the French army. He fought in the time of the French Revolution. He is also called "Father of Cascadia", "Colonel Cascadia" and "Montmorencian Montmorency"

Montmorency was born in Orléans, France. His father was Henry François Montmorency (1749-1808), born in Orléans and his mother, Elisabeth Jean Gervais (1752-1821) also born in Orléans.
